BERLIN (AP) -- Michael Jackson rewarded fans outside his Berlin hotel with a brief appearance and a glimpse of his youngest child -- dangling the toddler over a fourth-floor balcony.
The boy, his legs kicking, had what appeared to be a white cloth over his head as Jackson, briefly holding the child with one arm, displayed him Tuesday to dozens of fans waiting below the window of the luxurious Adlon Hotel.
The child was the reclusive singer's third and youngest, Prince Michael II, said Antje Sigesmund, a spokeswoman for the Bambi entertainment award ceremony, which Jackson is in Berlin to attend.
Fans cheered as the pop star appeared with the child, but Jackson quickly retreated into his hotel room without making any statement.
Little is known about Prince Michael II. People Magazine reported in August that he was six months old. The magazine, citing an anonymous friend, said the boy was not adopted and did not identify the mother.
Jackson has taken a break from a California courtroom where he testified last week in a $21 million lawsuit claiming he backed out on concerts. He arrived in Berlin to pick up a Bambi entertainment award for life achievement Thursday.
Jackson is also to attend a benefit for homeless children and a charity auction, where he will put a jacket and hat on the block Wednesday.
Is it just me, or does it seem that the AP missed the point of this story? The story was supposed to be about Michael Jackson dangling his baby over a balcony railing. They just conveniently skimmed right over that little detail. It bothers me to no end that someone like him is able to have children. I don't know about any of you, but I am convinced that he is guilty of molesting children at his Neverland Ranch. It sickens me that he molests kids but gets away with it because he is, after all, Michael Jackson. Every now and again he donates a tiny portion of his fortune to various charities and that somehow erases the disguiting violations he commits. Had this been anyone else dangling a baby over a balcony, their ass would be in jail right now. No one would dare excuse their action. Why is everyone so quick to excuse Michael Jackson's behavior? Becuase he's a world famous entertainer? Yeah, that must obviously mean that he is completey incapable of any wrong doing. He opens that distorted mouth of his, belts out some hideous notes and that suddenly makes him a saint. He has too much talent to be a bad guy. What kind of fucking sense does this make? Someone please explain to me why everyone is under this talentless moron's spell. What is it about this morbid little pervet that everyone loves? God, I hate that fucking little freak and I detest anyone who supports him as an entertainer or reagrds him as a decent human being. He has had so much plastic surgery, I don't even know how he can be considered human anymore. Aside from my hatred for him, what he did today was wrong and it was dangerous. CPS needs to get their heads out of their asses and give him what he deserves for endangering the life of his child who he supposedly loves. And the rest of the world needs to get their heads out of their asses long enough to see what a demented asshole he really is.
